Buchkogel (Rudolfswarte)

Description of mountain:
Buchkogel, also known as Graz Buchkogel, is located west of Graz and, alongside Plabutsch, is one of the most popular excursion destinations on the city's outskirts.
It is covered in mixed forest dominated by beech trees, after which the hill is named.
Together with Plabutsch, it provides habitat for chamois.
Since 1879, an 11 m high lookout tower of Prince Rudolf (Kronprinz-Rudolf-Warte) has stood at the summit, offering views of Graz.
