Description of mountain:
Stara sveta gora or "Stare gore above Podsreda" is a hill northeast from Podsreda on the southern edge of the hills which separate valleys Bistrica and Sotla. The main structure slightly below the top of the mountain is the church of the Sorrowful Mary or officially the church of the Mother of God of the Seven Sorrows. The original church was certainly there already in 14th century, and today's is from the beginning of 15th century. A little lower from the church stands the chapel of St. Mohor and Fortunat, also from the 15th century, which today serves as the last, 14th station of Way of the Cross from the valley. Older is the chapel of St. Ana a little above the church, which was most likely built already in the 14th century.
On the slope of the hill there is also part of dispersed settlement Gradišče. From the top, there are views on Podsreda, Grad Podsreda and valley of Bistrica north from Podsreda. To the top we can come on foot on a very panoramic Way of the cross or we can from the same starting point drive on the road.
