Sv. Vid (Vonarje)

Description of mountain:
The subsidiary church of St. Vid stands on a scenic hill above the settlement of Vonarje, near the border with Croatia. It is a peaceful and less visited spot that offers beautiful views of the Sotla River valley, the surrounding hills, and neighboring Croatia.
The original church at this location is first mentioned in written sources in the 16th century (1545). The church acquired its current appearance during the Baroque period, specifically in the mid-18th century.
