Sveti Jure (Biokovo)

Description of mountain:
Sveti Jure (1762 m) is the highest peak of the extensive Biokovo. On the summit, next to a small stone chapel, there are also transmitters that mar the mountain's appearance. Despite the transmitters, a very nice view opens from the peak, reaching from Split across Dinara to the mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the islands of Korčula, Hvar, and Brač.
