Veliki Planik

Description of mountain:
Veliki Planik, at 1272 m, is the highest peak of Čičarija, a ridge stretching from the Slovenian border to Poklon pass. From the summit, which has a logbook box, there is a fine view towards Istria, Učka, neighboring Mali Planik, and Gorski Kotar. To the west, the view is partly obscured by the forest, which provides pleasant shade on hot days.
