Description of mountain:
Veliko Cerje, or Veliki hrib, is a 343-meter-high hill located at the far western end of the Črni hribi ridge. From the summit, where a large monument commemorates the return of Primorska to the motherland, there are fine views of the Vipava Valley, Trnovski gozd, part of the Adriatic Sea, the southern Dolomites, and the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, including Kanin, Krn, and Triglav.
