Vršič above Bogojina

Description of mountain:
Vršič is a 246-meter-high hill that rises gently north of Bogojina, a village in the center of which stands the Church of the Ascension, whose plans were prepared by architect Jože Plečnik. On the summit of Vršič, surrounded by numerous vineyards, stands a wooden lookout tower. If we climb to the top of this tower, it offers a nice view of the nearby and distant surroundings.
