Description of mountain:
Zuc della Guardia is a 1,911 m high mountain in the Carnic Alps in Italy. Most visitors climb it on the return from neighboring Zermula (2,143 m), passing by (or via) nearby Monte Pizzul (1,985 m).
The mountain is still silently guarded by World War I fortifications and tunnels.
The final section before the summit features the secured via ferrata Ferrata degli Alpini. A cross stands on the summit, while the summit book is located midway through the climbing section between two cable stretches.
