The mountain hut is located 4 km south-southeast from the center of Untergreuth/Spodnje Rute and 4 km south from the center of Paradies. The nearest peak is Ferlacher Spitze / Kamnica, which is located 0.5km severovzhodno. South-southwest of the mountain hut is the valley Vrata and a marked path leads to the mountain hut.
