Ahornsattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1234 meters in the Upper Austrian Prealps. The saddle is located 7 km east from the center of Rosenau am Hengstpaß and 10 km east from the center of Edlbach. The nearest mountain hut is Hengstpasshütte, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Jagdhütte. The saddle is located west of the valley Frenzgraben.
