Description:
Bitterscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2535 meters in the Lechtal Alps. The saddle is located 6 km south from the center of Gramais and 7 km east-southeast from the center of Madau. The nearest mountain hut is Württemberger Haus, located 1.1km south. A little further is Almhütte Vorderstark. West of the saddle is the valley Madautal.
