The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Val Di Fumo, located 5km south. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Ceco Baroni, which is located 0.2km to the west-southwest. 5 km east-northeast of the saddle there is lake Lago di Lares. The saddle is located above the valley Val di Fumo.
