Brotfallscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2325 meters and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The saddle is located 8 km west from the center of Hinterstoder and 9 km west from the center of Mitterstoder. The nearest mountain hut is Welser Hütte, located 1.6km north-northwest. And bivouac Schutzhöhle is also close by.
