Description:
Gantalscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 1911 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 2.0 km west-southwest from the center of Katschberg and 2 km north-northeast from the center of Oberdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Doktoralm, located 2km northwest. A little further is Obere Pindlalmhütte. The saddle is located above the valley Katschtal.
