Grüblscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2394 meters and is part of the Villgraten Mountains. The saddle is located 3 km west-southwest of peak Rote Wand and jugoeast above the mountain pasture Grüblalm. The nearest mountain hut is Rieserfernerhütte - Rifugio Vedrette di Ries, located 6km northwest. A bit closer is Pichleralm, which is located 1.7km to the west-northwest. 6 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Östlicher Rieserferner - Vedretta di Ries orientale, 7 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Westlicher Rieserferner - Vedretta di Ries occidentale.
