Description:
Heimlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 1020 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 1.2 km east-northeast of peak Predigtstuhl. The nearest mountain hut is Steinwandhütte, located 1.1km south. Even closer is bivouac Mandling Großwallner, which is located 0.8km to the north. East-southeast of the saddle is the valley Preunegg.
