Kapaunsjoch

Description:
Kapaunsjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 1978 meters and is part of the Kitzbühel Alps. The saddle is located 3 km southeast from the center of Stummerberg and 4 km east-northeast from the center of Aschau im Zillertal. The nearest mountain hut is Zillertaler Schi-Alm, located 7km west. A bit closer is bivouac Steinbergaste, which is located 5km to the north-northwest. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Zillertal.
