The nearest mountain hut is Sadnighaus, located 2km south. A bit closer is Sunntiger Alm, which is located 1.8km to the west-northwest. 6 km northeast of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 8 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Schapperebenkees.
