Kobaltsattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1554 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 2 km south-southeast of peak Gensgitsch and east above the mountain pasture Vordere Pfarralm. The nearest mountain hut is Wildbachhütte, located 3km east. A little further is Granitzlhütte. East-northeast of the saddle is the valley Prebergraben.
