Hochgolling is 2863m according to some data 2862m high peak, which is situated in the heart of group Schladminger Taueren. Hochgolling is with its height also the highest peak of the entire mountain group Lower Tauern. From the top that has a cross is a very nice view towards the peaks of Lower and High Tauern, in good weather, we can also see part of Julian Alps, where Triglav stands out.
