Peski

Description:
Peski is a saddle at an altitude of 1971 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 1.7 km east-southeast of peak Batognica. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom pri Krnskih jezerih, located 3km north. Closer is Lovski dom Na Vrtičih, which is located 2km to the east-northeast. The monument Spomenik avstro-ogrske 15. gorske brigade na Peskih is also located on the saddle. 0.6 km south-southwest of the saddle there is lake Jezero v Lužnici. The saddle is located south of the valley Dolina Lepene and a marked path leads to the saddle.
