The nearest mountain hut is Tübinger Hütte, located 1.6km northwest. A little further is Zollwachhütte. North-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Plattengletscher, 0.5 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Schweizer Gletscher. The saddle is located west-northwest of the valley Klostertal.
