Westliche Plattenspitze is 2883 meter high peak in the Silvretta Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Tübinger Hütte, located 1.5km north-northwest. Zollwachhütte is also relatively close. East-northeast from the summit there is glacier Plattengletscher, 0.8 km east from the summit there is also glacier Schweizer Gletscher. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Klostertal.
