Preinecksattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1302 meters in the Mürzsteg Alps. The saddle is located 6 km east from the center of Kernhof and 6 km southeast from the center of St. Aegyd am Neuwalde. The nearest mountain hut is Gippelhütte, located 3km southwest. A bit closer is Schlagerhütte, which is located 0.7km to the east-northeast. The saddle is located above the valley Schlagergraben.
