Description:
Schaar is a saddle at an altitude of 2377 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.5 km west of peak Rotsandspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Landawirseehütte, located 1.6km north-northeast. bivouac Neualm is also relatively close. 0.8 km north-northeast of the saddle there is lake Oberer Landawirsee. North-northwest of the saddle is the valley Obertal.
