Schöntaljoch

Description:
Schöntaljoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2632 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 3km south. A bit closer is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte, which is located 1.4km to the east. 1.6 km north-northwest of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 3 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Hohenaukees, 4 km west from the saddle there is also glacier Rauhkofelkees. The saddle is located above the valley Zillergründl.
