Schwarzes Törl is a saddle at an altitude of 2941 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 9 km southeast from the center of Predoi and 11 km west-southwest from the center of Hinterbichl and 0.4 km south-southeast of peak Törlspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Jagdhausalm, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is Jagdhütte. 6 km south-southwest of the saddle there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 4 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Welitzkees, 5 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa. The saddle is located above the valley Schwarzachtal.
