Sella Prasnig is a saddle at an altitude of 1491 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km west-northwest from the center of Cave del Predil and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Valbruna/Ovčja vas. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Luigi Pellarini, located 2.0km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Bivacco C.A.I. Gorizia. The saddle is located above the valley Valbruna.
