Description:
Šija 1 is a saddle at an altitude of 1353 meters located in the Karawanks mountain range. The saddle is located 1.8 km north from the center of Dovje and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Mojstrana and 2 km southwest of peak Visoki Kurjek / Bärenkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Bertahütte, located 4km north-northeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča na Brvogih, which is located 1.6km to the east-northeast. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Vrata.
