Description:
Stemmscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2494 meters located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located in country Austria 7 km north from the center of Hintergöriach and 8 km north-northwest from the center of Lessach. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Laßhoferalm, located 3km east-southeast. A bit closer is Hieselbauerhütte (verf.), which is located 2km to the northeast.
