Description:
Trogscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 1698 meters in the Gurktal Alps. The saddle is located 5 km south from the center of Kaindorf and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Sankt Lorenzen ob Murau. The nearest mountain hut is Bernhard-Fest-Hütte, located 1.0km northeast. A little closer is Troghütte, which is located 0.8km to the north. South-southeast of the saddle is the valley Metnitztal.
