Za Gradom is a saddle at an altitude of 1105 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 1.8 km east from the center of Drenchia / Dreka and 3 km south-southwest from the center of Volarje near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Casoni Solarie, located 0.6km south. And bivouac Bivacco Giuseppe Zanuso is also close by. East-southeast of the saddle is the valley Baška grapa. The saddle is located Catena del Monte Colovrat.
