Description:
Alplwand is 1846 meter high peak and is part of the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 1.2 km east of peak Hohe Veitsch. The nearest mountain hut is Graf Meran Haus, located 0.9km west-southwest. And Hansi's Huette is also close by. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Innerer Krampengraben.
