Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1589 meter high peak and is part of the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km east of peak Hohe Veitsch. The nearest mountain hut is Grundbauerhütte, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is Waldbauer (Jagdhütte). East-northeast of the summit is the valley Innerer Krampengraben.
