Description:
Ameiskogel is 1111 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 4 km north from the center of Wienerbruck and 4 km west-northwest from the center of Sägemühle. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Vorderötscher, located 9km southwest. Closer is bivouac Annaberg Sägemühle, which is located 4km to the east-southeast. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Klausgraben.
