Ameiskopf is 1302 meter high peak in the Bavarian Prealps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Rotwandhütte, located 6km south-southwest. Closer is Geißalm, which is located 1.6km to the west-southwest. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Achental.
