Description:
Asangkogel is 630 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 1.7 km south-southwest from the center of Gruft and 2 km west from the center of Sankt Anton an der Jeßnitz. The nearest mountain hut is Ötscherschutzhaus, located 12km south. A bit closer is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Plätzen, which is located 8km to the west-southwest. The peak is located northwest of the valley Klausgraben.
