Blasenkogel is 1602 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km north from the center of Sankt Blasen and 3 km south from the center of Frojach. The nearest mountain hut is Grebenzenhaus, located 7km south-southeast. bivouac Schiltern Ort is a bit further away. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Metnitztal.
