Brandleck is 1725 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located in country Austria 0.4 km north-northwest of peak Mayrwipfl. The nearest mountain hut is Schaumbergalm, located 4km east-northeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Mayralm, which is located 2km to the south. Northeast of the summit is the valley Neustiftgraben. The peak is located above the ridge Sengsengebirge.
