Description:
Burgschrofen is 1524 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.2 km north-northeast from the center of Fendels and 1.9 km south-southwest from the center of Kauns. The nearest mountain hut is Sattelklause, located 3km south-southeast. A bit closer is Fischerclub Ried, which is located 1.7km to the west-southwest. The peak is located in the valley Kaunertal.
