Description:
Cavaion is 3140 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 0.9 km south-southwest of peak Cima Pontevecchio. The nearest mountain hut is Malga Stablaz alta, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is Baito Fassole. 5 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Ultenmarktferner - Vedretta Ultima. The peak is located above the valley Val Meleda.
