The peak is located 2 km south from the center of Belca and 2 km west-southwest from the center of Mojstrana and 4 km west-northwest of peak Jerebikovec and severovzhodno above the mountain pasture Vrtaška planina. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Peričniku, located 2km south-southwest. bivouac Pri Hajnžku is a bit further away. The peak is located above the valley Vrata.
