Cima Presanella is 3556 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The peak is located 9 km south-southwest from the center of Vermiglio and 10 km northwest from the center of Carisolo. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Stavèl Francesco Denza, located 3km north-northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Brigata Orobica, which is located 0.4km to the southeast. 1.1 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Vedretta di Nardis, 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Vedretta Cercen.
