The peak is located 8 km south-southwest from the center of Reichraming and 9 km west-southwest from the center of Lumplgraben. The nearest mountain hut is Ebenforstalm, located 3km south. A little further is Tiefbodenhütte (Jagdhütte). Northeast of the summit is the valley Neustiftgraben.
