Durchat is 1731 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km northwest from the center of Vorberg and 4 km north-northeast from the center of Mandling and 3 km south of peak Marstein and west above the mountain pasture Schlitzenalm. The nearest mountain hut is Glös-Alm, located 0.9km northeast. bivouac Ramsau Schi Willy/Rittislift is also relatively close. 4 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 5 km north from the summit there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Preunegg.
