Dachsteinsüdwandhütte is a mountain hut at an altitude of 1871 meters and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The mountain hut is located 5 km northwest from the center of Ramsau am Dachstein and 6 km north-northwest from the center of Vorberg and 1.0 km southwest of peak Scheiblingstein. The nearest peak is Schönbühel, which is located 0.3km jugozahodno. 1.9 km northeast from the mountain hut there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 3 km north-northwest from the mountain hut there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. The mountain hut is located north of the valley Preunegg.
