Mitterstein

Description:
Mitterstein is 2097 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 6 km north-northwest from the center of Ramsau am Dachstein and 7 km north-northwest from the center of Vorberg and 1.0 km southwest of peak Westliches Dirndl. The nearest mountain hut is Seethalerhütte, located 0.9km north-northeast. And bivouac Ramsau Brückenhof is also close by. 1.8 km east from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 1.8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. South of the summit is the valley Preunegg.
