Oberer Eisstein is 2682 meter high peak in the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 7 km north-northwest from the center of Ramsau am Dachstein and 8 km north-northwest from the center of Vorberg. The nearest mountain hut is Seethalerhütte, located 0.5km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Modereck. 1.4 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 1.6 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located north of the valley Preunegg.
