The nearest mountain hut is Seethalerhütte, located 0.7km southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramsau Brückenhof. 0.9 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 2 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located north of the valley Preunegg.
