Hoher Dachstein

Description:
Hoher Dachstein is 2995 meter high peak with a cross in the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 7 km north-northwest from the center of Ramsau am Dachstein and 8 km north-northwest from the center of Vorberg. The nearest mountain hut is Seethalerhütte, located 0.6km east-southeast. And bivouac Ramsau Brückenhof is also close by. 1.1 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 2 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located north of the valley Preunegg.
